Our B-BBEE Philosophyx

We firmly believe that Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (B-BBEE) is more than regulatory requirement, it is a critical initiative that must be instituted for South African businesses to move forward. The need for meaningful workplace transformation is a requirement to demonstrate effective transformation at all levels of an organisation. This envisaged empowerment process needs to be addressed in a holistic and systematic manner at all levels of a business.

SARMCOL is now 51% Black Woman Owned – Sharma Rubber (a 100% Black Woman owned entity) are the 51% equity owners and Rema Tip Top Holding SA (the OEM) owns 49% of the company’s equity. We are also proud of the fact that we have 67% Black Woman representation on the SARMCOL Board of Directors which, for the industrial rubber sector, is an exciting development.

We strive to work towards positive transformation in our business and our industry, providing equal opportunity for all. We have only one core benchmark we are passionate about and that is to service excellence and customer satisfaction.
